As a service to those who are unable to rebuild their columns using MG-106 or MG-107 I offer the following services: -I will rebuild your 1968 thru 1976 column in my shop, using my MG-107 kit. The column will be returned to you with new bushings installed, column cleaned and repainted with the slipjoint inside the column will be repaired. The column will be as good, or better than new. The price for this service is $125. Included in this price is return shipping and insurance within the United States. Shipping to Canada may require addition charge. -If you have a late column, 1977 thru 1980, I will rebuild it as above for the same price, $125. -I will also offer both columns on an exchange basis, if I have columns in stock. I try to keep a few rebuilt columns in stock but I cannot promise that I will have what you need. These columns are sold on a first come, first served basis. Your rebuildable column is required as a core. -If you send a column to be rebuilt to me, please specify what year MGB the column is for. Through the years, there were differences in the column designs for different years. There were differences in the threads and spline combination for holding the steering wheel in place. The Ignition switch/lock needs to be removed during my rebuilding process. It is better if you remove it before shipping the column to me. If you cannot remove it, I will remove it and reinstall, using the origional style shear bolts, for an additional $15 fee. -I will buy your old rebuildable 1968 thru 1980 MGB steering columns for $25 each.
